My printer is in processing limbo

Just decided to lock itself out of the network randomly... unplugging/resetting wireless all do not work.  Boot up goes ok and you can see printer on network for  about 30 secs then it goes into "processing...." mode with LPD in the window and it appears like it's trying to print, but nothing ever happens.  Would love to be able to clear out whatever it is trying to do, but I suspect I am facing a hardware issue.
